Family Life Education

During the course of the year, Squirrel Hill Psychological Services holds workshops and seminars, giving community members the tools and insight to address issues such as parenting, children with special needs, stepfamilies, interfaith tensions and conflict, stress, domestic abuse and more.

How We Help

• Outreach programming builds awareness of specific issues and provides practical information.
• Group presentations provide an opportunity for sharing experiences and exchanging ideas.

Meet the People We Help

• As first-time parents, Natalie and Chuck were unfamiliar with many child development milestones. They wanted to be informed because they didn't want to miss anything that might be of concern but also wanted to avoid becoming unnecessarily anxious.
