Family Therapy

At times, family therapy—from two family members to your entire family—is the most effective way to deal with an issue. Family therapy may be the sole treatment provided, or it may be provided in conjunction with individual, child/adolescent or couples therapy.

If there are issues causing conflict in your family, contact us. We can help.

How We Help

  • Family therapy provides an opportunity for family members to talk openly about their thoughts and feelings with a qualified, caring, nonjudgmental professional.
  • We have experience and expertise in a wide range of areas including, but not limited to:
    • Communication problems
    • Step-family adjustment issues
    • Interfaith tensions and conflict
    • Parent-child conflict
    • Caring for aging family members
    • Grief and loss
  • We are highly experienced at working with culturally-diverse individuals and pride ourselves on being empathetic and respectful of each person's situation and needs.
  • Our unique position as a division of a larger, non-sectarian social service agency, Jewish Family & Children's Service, gives us immediate access to experienced professionals in elder care, career counseling, adoption, special needs, critical needs resource coordination and more, enabling us to connect you with a range of experts and resources from which you may benefit.
  • Our staff is knowledgeable about third-party reimbursement and is able to guide you through the procedures required by your particular insurance company. Individuals without insurance may apply for a reduced fee based on income and family size.
